Wedge Anchors provide an effective, reliable solution to securely attach objects into concrete. These specialized anchors are installed with the appropriate Concrete Drill Bit and expand when the nut is tightened, making them a reliable option for anchoring into concrete surfaces.
Hex Sleeve Anchors are used to secure objects to concrete, masonry, or other solid surfaces. They consist of a cylindrical metal sleeve with external threads and a cone-shaped end. The sleeve is usually made of steel, and the anchor is designed to expand and grip the surrounding material when tightened .
Flat Sleeve Anchor has four parts: an internal stud that is flared outwardly and cone shaped on one end with the other end threaded, a sleeve that fits over the internal stud, and a flat countersunk head that threads onto the stud.
This is an expansion anchor that works by turning the flat head clockwise, which pulls the cone shaped internally threaded stud upwards and expanding the sleeve against the walls of the hole in the base material.
Drop-In anchors should only be used in solid concrete. Their main use is to insert threaded rod to suspend electrical cable trays, HVAC ductwork and fire sprinkler pipe and heads. They can be used in applications that require a flush mounted anchor and when a bolt needs to be inserted and removed.
